Developing the Logo
Thinking about what Séarlait said I want to create a typeface for her logo. Based on the idea of exploration. She prefers Geometric or circular typefaces, and doesn't mind the sharp points on A, V, M, W, etc.
Neutraface
Really likes the S. Being a fan of Geometric but not as widely used as Futura.
Century Gothic
Looks very similar to her handwriting, playful and also works great for body copy.
Hates this A (Below).
Geometric Inspiration
Since Hannah doesn't want to go down the Geometric route and Séarlait does I'm going to use the typefaces below as inspiration for her logo... not Hannah's.
Initial Drawings of Typefaces
From the idea of exploration came the idea of expanding lines, which in turn becomes a geometric sans serif typeface.
Séarlait's Tools
We had the idea of branding Séarlait's tools: Tri-Square, Carpenters Pencil, Marking Gauge, Sliding Bevels, Marking Knifes, Rulers.
